Associate Project Controls Specialist I

Job DescriptionThis position performs Project Control activities and assists in the preparation of Project Controls activities for a project or assignment.
This role serves as lead cost on medium-sized projects.
oAssist in generating, checking, and analyzing data to ensure accuracy; maintain orderly records to provide audit trail dataoUse the Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures to ensure that data are entered correctly into the Project Controls systems in a consistent manneroDevelop/Maintain cost reports as required by internal or client requirementsoAssist in the preparation of specialty schedules, the project labor forecast, and organize site team to generate a construction forecastoAnalyze current schedule/cost trends and recommend solutions for potential problem areas oAssist in the change management process oParticipate in internal and external audits oOrganize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines oAssemble and maintain project budgetsoPlan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff oMaintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards oOther duties as assignedoRequired to be onsiteBasic Job RequirementsoAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and no required years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to four (4) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements oAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors oJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job oAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines oAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerPreferred QualificationsoAccredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent technical degree or non-technical degree with business and computer software coursesoProficiency in the use of automated cost or schedule management systemsoPossess strong personal computer skills - i.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
